Illustration: Portraits Drawing
For me, the face is the mirror of the soul. Every glance, every expression tells a story, an emotion that deserves to be highlighted. When I draw, my goal is simple: to capture those fleeting moments that reveal the complexity of a person. A furrowed brow, a faint smile, a shadow in the eyes, these are the details that bring a portrait to life.
I chose black and white because it allows me to focus on the essential. Without the distraction of color, the eye is drawn to what truly matters: the lines, the contrasts, the nuances. It’s in this interplay of light and shadow that I find the power to express what words sometimes cannot.
Every portrait I draw is an attempt to seize the intimacy of a moment. It’s a way to showcase the raw beauty of human emotions, in all their fragility and strength. What I strive for above all is to convey this universal truth: no matter our differences, our faces tell stories that connect us all.
“Through these black and white portraits, I aim to celebrate the beauty and depth of human expressions, reminding us that every face carries a story worth telling.”
